The Sandlot is a classic coming-of-age film about a group of young boys playing baseball on their makeshift field in the hot, Los Angeles summer of 1962. Together, they learn about the trials and tribulations of friendship, growing up, and playing sports, all on the other side of a fence separating them from a vicious junkyard dog.
